Dr. Ghada Helmi

Dr. Ghada Helmy Ahmed is a distinguished Professor of Law in Egypt, renowned for her expertise in criminal law, human rights, and legislative policy.
She holds a PhD in Law from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, and possesses extensive legal experience combining university teaching, advanced research, and supervision of numerous master’s and doctoral theses.
Dr. Ahmed has authored several specialized studies in sports law and arbitration, in addition to notable legal books and publications issued by Dar Al-Nahda Al-Arabia for Publishing & Distribution – Egypt, Dar Al-Ahram for Legal Studies – Egypt, and The Legal Book Institution – Algeria.
She has presented scholarly papers at numerous legal conferences at the national, regional, and international levels, and has served as both a member and chair of various conference committees.
She is also a member of the Editorial Review Committee of Al-Bahith Al-Arabi Journal, affiliated with the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice – League of Arab States.
Currently, Dr. Ahmed serves as Managing Editor of the Human Rights Studies Journal at the State Information Service, Visiting Professor at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, and Lecturer at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy, where she delivers advanced legal training programs.
